With cold temperatures, the holidays and snow around the corner, Intereum has some exciting events on the horizon. The AIA’s Access Excellence, the Power Office Event, and Herman Miller’s WeCare 2014 will provide ample opportunity for networking, learning and spreading holiday cheer!
AIA Minnesota Convention & Exposition: Access Excellence
From November 11th-14th the American Institute of Architects will host the 80th Annual AIA Minnesota Convention & Exposition at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Access Excellence event invites architects, contractors, engineers, manufacturers and interior designers to engaging seminars and a free exhibit hall. The exhibit hall will be packed with products, services, activities and information. Intereum will be at booth #514 on Wednesday and Thursday during exhibiting times. The Intereum booth will exhibit Seeyond’s newest product line. Being the only dealer in the Twin Cities, Intereum will help to show the customizable Seeyond products which help to create collaborative spaces, functional displays and quick touchdown areas for meetings.
The Power Office Event
Winter marks an exciting event season for Intereum. On Thursday November 13th, Intereum will host the Power Office event featuring guest speaker Megan Tamte, co-founder and CEO of Evereve (formerly Hot Mama). Evereve is a contemporary, retail brand that encourages busy moms to love the woman she is today and to be fully alive through expression and clothing. This free event provides an inspiring presentation into the success of Evereve and Megan Tamte’s career in the retail business. Not only will attendees learn about Evereve, they will have time to network while enjoying appetizers and beverages provided by Herman Miller. If you are interested in attending the Power Office Event, make sure to RSVP here!
Herman Miller WeCare Event
On December 10th, Herman Miller’s WeCare event will take place at the newly renovated multipurpose space of the Jerry Gamble Boys & Girls Club – The Carl & Eloise Pohlad Activity Center. This special holiday gathering will bring cheer to Minneapolis by creating holiday crafts with children from the ages of 5 to 13. The children of North Minneapolis will have a chance to create crafts alongside volunteers (including members from Intereum), visit Santa Clause, wrap gifts, and take home cozy attire, including mittens, hats and scarves. This tradition within the Boys and Girls Club of North Minneapolis has become a favorite volunteering opportunity for the design community and members of Intereum.
